The Example

Today’s readings beautifully show us how compassionate and caring our Lord is.

They remind us of his command “Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 15:12)

The last part of the Gospel illustrate two more important points:

• The need to recharge through private prayer and
• The importance of not resting on our laurels, but always moving forward to accomplish the work of God.
