Too quick to condemn

Too many of us – liberal or conservative – are too quick to condemn.

In today’s Gospel (Matthew 12:1-8), our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ says this:

If you knew what this meant,
“I desire mercy, not sacrifice,”
you would not have condemned these innocent men.

Do we hear Him saying this to us as well?
