Temporary

Everything in this world is temporary.

God calls us to live for the eternal, even as we live in this world, by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as Saint Paul reminds us in today’s first reading (1 Corinthians 7:25-31):

For the world in its present form is passing away.
