We celebrate the birth of a child

Her parents called her their "miracle" baby.

Little did they know what the real miracle would be.

As she grew up, everyone thought she was a perfect little girl.

Little did they know how perfect.

Before long, she herself would become a mother.

Only then would people begin to understand.

Today the Church celebrates the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary,

mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
