Man for Whitehorse

The Holy Father has named Father Gary Gordon, a priest of the Archdiocese of Vancouver, as the new Bishop of Whitehorse, Yukon (Canada). Bishop-elect Gordon, 48, was ordained in 1982 and has been serving as Pastor of St. Mary's parish in Chilliwack, BC and as the Archbishop's Delegate for Correctional Facilities.
