Reunion

In today’s first reading (from Genesis 46), we have the emotional reunion of Jacob and his long lost, most beloved son Joseph.

As soon as Joseph saw him,
he flung himself on his neck
and wept a long time in his arms.

So may we be in the arms of our heavenly Father, especially as we come to him in prayer.
