New Bishop of Linz

Pope Benedict this morning appointed a new bishop to the troubled diocese of Linz, Austria: one of the Auxiliary Bishops of Vienna, Ludwig Schwarz, S.D.B, 65, who has previously held important positions in the Salesian order and also taught Latin Patristics for 14 years in Rome.
