Whom do we serve?

Do our lives and everything we do serve our egos? Our passions? Our comfort and convenience? Our ideologies?

In today’s Gospel (Matthew 4:1-11), our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ says this:

Jesus said to him,
"Get away, Satan!
It is written:
The Lord, your God, shall you worship
and him alone shall you serve."
