Get out of jail free

In today’s first reading (Acts 5:17-26), the Apostles are miraculously freed from jail by an angel who instructs them to tell the people everything about new life in Christ.

May the new life of Christ free you and I from selfishness and fear, so that we may live and proclaim the wonderful truth that comes from our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
