A Penitent Blogger

Mindful of my imperfections, seeking to know Truth more deeply and to live Love more fully.

Quid sum miser tunc dicturus? Quem patronum rogaturus? Cum vix iustus sit securus?
Recordare, Iesu pie, Quod sum causa tuae viae: Ne me perdas illa die...

Caring for the incurable

"Our Mission is to provide care to the poor with incurable cancer, and through this work to give visible witness to the truth of the Church's teachings on the sacredness of life and the value of suffering."

"We adore and attempt to conform ourselves to Christ Crucified. We serve the suffering Christ in our suffering patients, and we bring our own sufferings and the sufferings of our patients to Jesus on the Cross. Ultimately, we accept the Cross fully, uniting ourselves to the Suffering Savior for our own sanctification and the salvation of the world."

"God has brought us together from all over the world ... all different ages, all different walks of life, all different personalities ... to join together with one unifying goal: to love God and to serve His people. When community life is lived well, the sisters become one in mind and heart in Christ. Becoming more unified in our prayers, we also become unified in our work. A joyful spirit of the community permeates and carries the individual Sisters through many difficult times."
