Extreme setbacks

In today’s first reading (Acts 8:1b-8), a severe persecution devastates the Church as Saul and his allies go into house after house to drag Christian men and women off to prison.

Philip’s response to this extreme situation is to look for new opportunities to proclaim the Gospel, which he does with great success.

How do we respond to setbacks in our living and proclaiming the faith of Christ?
