Epiphany
In many places, the Feast of the Epiphany is celebrated today.
Of course, it would be wonderful if everyone celebrated Epiphany on its traditional day and if everyone flocked to their churches on that day (and on the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God January 1 as well), but we do the best we can with what is given us.
Maybe all of us need an epiphany – literally, a revelation from on high – to remind us that there is something higher and infinitely more important than the things in our lives that keep us so busy.
