A Poet and A Child of God

Mattie Stepanek, "almost 14" years of age and who was known worldwide as "a poet, peacemaker and philosopher who played", passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2004.

Friends and visitors will be received at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church in Rockville, Maryland on Sunday, June 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Catherine Labouré the next day at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland.
