Keep on teaching
Today’s first reading gives us the end of the Book of the Acts of the Apostles(28:16-20, 30-31): not with Paul’s death, but with his continuing to teach about Christ:
He received all who came to him,
and with complete assurance
and without hindrance
he proclaimed the Kingdom of God
and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is appropriate,
not only because that is what Paul’s life was all about
but also because that is what our lives should be all about:
being open to everyone,
being strong in our faith,
holding nothing back of what we believe,
proclaiming the Kingdom of God by our words and actions,
and teaching others the full truth
in and about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
