Busy for God

Today’s Gospel tells of how great crowds would gather around our Lord “to be cured of their ailments, but he would withdraw to deserted places to pray.”

There is no shortage of good things we can and should be doing for the Lord and for his people, but we can never let that be an excuse for us to neglect our personal, private prayer.
